It’s easy to lose faith when pain/worry/stress is plaguing your mind, body, and soul. But it’s never too late to begin healing yourself and pushing past this pain. For many, that means healing — from hardships, personal problems, or even just a rough month. No matter the situation and the pain, you can count on finding some strength in God’s word.
Psalm 146:8
“The Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous.”
The Good News: Through God, many miracles can occur. Though Covid-19 appears to be holding the world at ransom, we as children of God need to reflect and collectively pray for the same intention with all the love and faith in our hearts to bring this situation to a complete rest.
There is no situation that is too big for God. There are lessons that we as a people must learn from these situations. We have lost sight of our purpose as a people. We have forgotten about being loving, kind, compassionate and forgiving. We have become selfish. Greed, hatred, pride and unforgiveness have had us in its grip. God is speaking to us. Turn away from sin and return to the Lord. He is a forgiving Lord.
Each day you reflect, do one act of kindness. Don’t do it for fame and recognition. Do it because it is the right thing to do. One simple act of kindness can cause millions of others. Not every act of kindness needs to be rewarded with material gifts. There are blessings in abundance for that.
I challenge you everyday to do one simple act of kindness for anyone, even the neighbor you may not be speaking with or your family member that you are holding a grudge against.
Love, forgive, be kind and compassionate.
Take Action Now.
You are reminded to be proactive always. Please do as you are required to ensure your safety and the safety of others.
You possess GOD DNA ?
You have exactly what it takes to rise above. Be thankful in every situation that you are faced with.
Fr. David.
