Message: 6th April, 2020. From Me to You…

Brothers and Sisters,

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

It’s easy to use the word hope the way the world does: to mean a desire or a wishful expectation, but not a certainty. When used this way hope connotes uncertainty. But in the Bible, the opposite is true: hope connotes absolute certainty. Let’s put it this way “Christian hope is a confidence that something will come to pass because God has promised it will come to pass.”

We learn that hope is an intrinsic part of who you are, like the love and compassion in your heart. But to make this hope a real and powerful force in life, we need to activate it with out God awareness. Once genuine hope in Christ is ignited, it transforms your reality and eradicates fear and uncertainty.

Reflect, today, upon whether there is someone or something in your life you have started to give up on. Perhaps you’ve tried everything and the person continues to turn away from the path toward God. In that case, you can be certain that your calling is to pray for that person. You are called to pray with fervor, not just in a casual and quick way; rather, you are called to deep and faith-filled prayer for them.

Sometimes we are tempted to loose sight of hope. We live in a world that has often forgotten the concepts of goodness, beauty, truth, integrity. Daily, reports reach us of the most devastating sufferings of people who are the innocent victims of war, violence, and hatred. Thousands of children die every day from malnutrition, hunger, or diseases that could be prevented by a more generous sharing of the world’s resources.

Know that Jesus is the answer to all things and can do all things. Surrender that person to the mercy of God today, tomorrow and every day. Do not give up, but retain hope that God can bring healing and transformation of life.

Take Action Now.

You are reminded to be proactive always. Please do as you are required to ensure your safety and the safety of others. We pray for the souls of the departed from the Covid-19 virus and ask God to grant them pardon for their shortcomings and bring them into the Glory of his Kingdom.

You possess GOD DNA ?
You have exactly what it takes to rise above. Be thankful in every situation that you are faced with.

Fr. David.
