In preparation for the Southern Vicariate Youth Small Goal Football Tournament on Saturday 8th August 2015 at the Southern Regional Indoor Sporting Arena, Pleasantville San Fernando, our parish has been offered coaching assistance for its team for the tournament from the renowned Clayton Morris. The players for our parish team are yet to be selected, but all young persons, male and female, between the ages of 15 and 30 are invited to attend the training sessions to be screened.

Interested persons are invited to sign up at the first training session would be on Monday 22nd June 2015 on the lower courtyard behind the Grotto from 4 – 6 p.m and would continue each following Monday at the same venue and time unless otherwise stated. All interested persons are asked to take careful consideration of the following:

• Plain white round-neck jerseys (absolutely NO polos or shirts) and proper all black football pants (strictly NO jeans or any other style pants) are to be worn 
• Proper footwear, i.e, outdoor sneakers or turfs (NOT pegged football shoes or boots) with socks worn above the ankles are to be worn
• Respect and discipline of the highest level are expected

We also welcome generous monetary donations from parishioners for the purchase of team uniforms for this year’s tournament. We estimate that One Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($150.00) would suffice to purchase a Football T-shirt (with print) and a pair of socks for one player (each player would be asked to bring his/her own pants and shoes). Our total budget for uniforms would therefore be One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1500.00). We would also need donations of food and drink to refresh the team and any supporting members of the parish community.
