From Me to You… Message: 20th April, 2020.

Brothers and Sisters

He is Risen! Alleluia Alleluia!

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Hebrews 4:16

This is a verse that rejoices our hearts for this Throne of Grace is the eternal seat of the sovereign God, Whose mercy-seat has covered our sins forever and by Whose grace the veil of the temple is torn from top to bottom to provide us access into the presence of our heavenly Father. Through Christ we have received the gracious invitation to come boldly unto God’s Throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Mercy refers to the pardon of sin, and being brought into the favor of God. Grace is that by which the soul is supported after it has received this mercy, and by which it is purified from all unrighteousness, and upheld in all trials and difficulties, and enabled to prove faithful unto death.

It is faith that clears the way to the mercy seat. Faith, gives the assurance that there even is a mercy seat and a High Priest that waits to hear our petitions and our confession and those of our brothers and sisters. What are we doing in prayer? We are fellowshippingwith God. We are in His company communicating with Him, and faith is plowing the way before us—because prayer grows out of faith! We would not even be praying if we did not have faith.

We need pardon – as the first thing when we come to God. We are guilty and self-condemned – and our first cry should be for “mercy” – “mercy.” A man who comes to God not feeling his need of mercy must fail of obtaining the divine favor; and he will be best prepared to obtain that favor who has the deepest sense of his need of forgiveness.

Thank You Father for the grace and mercy that streams from Your throne of grace to me through Jesus, my great High Priest and Saviour. I praise You for the grace that You have extended to me. Were I to spend the rest of my days in grateful thanks I could not express my love for You, in Christ’s name I pray, AMEN.

You are reminded to be proactive always. Please do as you are required to ensure your safety and the safety of others. We pray for the souls of the departed from the Covid-19 virus and ask God to grant them pardon for their shortcomings and bring them into the Glory of his Kingdom.

You possess GOD DNA ?
You have exactly what it takes to rise above. Be thankful in every situation that you are faced with.
