Message: 3rd April, 2020 From Me to You…

Brothers and Sisters,

1 John 4:20
If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.

We as a people many times have fallen short of the Glory of God. As we reflect individually we must know that Self-love is place you come to in yourself that knows on the deepest and divine level that you are enough, no matter what. God made you.

May we all always offer ourselves the unconditional love we will ALWAYS be deserving of, no matter what. When we are able to to love ourselves and treat our bodies well because it is the temple of the Holy Spirit, only then can we fully enter into communion with God. If we are treating our bodies poorly and not being grateful for what God has gifted us with, we are not welcoming the spirit of God.

In loving ourselves, we can understand the divine connection to God and be able to love others unconditionally. We are all one body connected on a spiritual artery of God’s Eternal Love for us. It’s not about what you get back and how someone else makes you feel. It’s about how you can give to them and how that, in turn, brings you blessings and happiness.

Love for others, especially fellow Christians, is a primary commandment from Christ. So, a person who exhibits hate for others, but claims to know God, is lying. It is more difficult to love someone you cannot see than someone you can see. If you as a person cannot love those you see, then you cannot reasonably claim to love those you cannot see. The person who claims to love God must also show love for everyone.

True, pure love is humble and unconditional. It’s difficult to master the art of loving this way, but learning to love yourself is a great place to start.
This also ties into the idea that, since we cannot see God in all of His divine essence, love is meant to be the way God is seen. Both in ourselves, and in the world, God’s love is meant to be the way humanity “sees” Him.

God’s Love Endures Forever.
Love one another as I Love you❤️
