Reflection on National Vocation Awareness Week.

This week of Vocation Awareness was celebrated annually during the time of year from the 7th to the 13th of November in the Catholic Church. This week was dedicated to encourage and promote vocations to those especially chosen and called for the priesthood, diaconate and religious life.

As we walk along the straight and narrow on our journey together in Synod, let us stand side by side in body, mind and spirit giving the support and love to God’s chosen.

We could help them fulfill their purpose by praying and renewing our faith. Where two or more are gathered, unity brings the extra strength needed. Let us encourage one another and lift our brothers and sisters in reaching their highest potential. Together, as we look out for our brothers and sisters best interests, let us listen to their hearts and ask our Lord Jesus Christ, our King to open their eyes to see their calling, their ears to hear the Lord’s voice and their lips to accept His proposal.
